General cleaning

Our soft wipes were historically developed for hand cleaning in industrial environments. Soft for the skin, but also effective against grease and dirt, our soft wipes range provides an economical, efficient solution.

Gekatex technical wiping solutions are manufactured from different fabrics and engineered materials to provide the best outcome in your application.

Ecotex is a nonwoven made of 100% viscose which is 40% Lyocell® fibre. The Lyocell® fibre is PEFC certified and entirely compostable within 6 weeks. Ecotex, by the nature of its composition, is more resistant and absorbent than a classic wipe. This is an eco-friendly solution for general purpose wiping in the automotive, hygiene and medical industries.

DNM3 is a white nonwoven, composed of polyester and cellulose. The product is perfect for all automotive maintenance, it can also be used for other general wiping tasks. It has good saturated resistance strength.

DNM13 has been developed for degreasing and cleaning car bodies. This wipe is extremely hard-wearing and resistant to the most aggressive solvents. It is durable and highly absorbent to assure a quick dry with no lint and minimal effort, cost and time.

The Gekamicro range has been specially developed to make your cleaning operations easy and lightning-fast. From the disposable nonwovens microfilaments version to the heavier knitted washable ones, we have dedicated ourselves to selecting the most effective split microfibre in order to get the maximum benefits.

The Gekatube is a 100% polyester knitted tube wipe. It has been designed to eliminate linting and foreign object contamination in industrial general maintenance and sealant wiping. The wipe has been knitted as a tube to protect the user and enable a better process.

Coretex is a microfibre nonwoven made from polyamide and polyester. This product is perfect for soft finishing wiping thanks to its flat surface. Coretex is made from microfibre filament yarn, which makes it really resistant and helps avoid fibre release. It can be washed and reused up to 5 times.

DNM2K is a blue nonwoven based on cellulose and polyester. This product is ideal for solvent wiping in industrial applications. Thanks to its specifically developed spunlace technology, DNM2K is really resistant and leaves no lint. Cellulose has a good absorption rate and fluid retention properties. The structure of the textile is creped, which provides a better grip and improves wiping pick up.

DNM4 is an absorbent apertured nonwoven fabric, manufactured from a blend of cellulosic and synthetic fibres. Due to its unique relief structure, this wipe is suitable for a range of hard surface and solvent cleaning. DNM4 has high absorption and good resistance.

Omnitex is a new range of nonwoven products, combining robustness, absorption level, cleanliness efficiency and abrasion resistance - dry or saturated. Omnitex is an excellent alternative for all classic rags.

Surtex is a soft aperture, structured textile type wiper, composed of fine rayon and polyester fibres. This product is great for wiping delicate surfaces, using polishing compounds and liquids. It is made of viscose and is very soft and absorbent.

Gekasorb is a nonwoven made from polypropylene consolidated with meltblown technology, for grease and oil absorbency in the industry.

Bluetex is a nonwoven made from polypropylene with meltblown technology. The product is mainly used for grease and oil absorbency or solvent wiping. Bluetex doesn't release fibres and is both resistant and really absorbent.

Minhatex polishing cloths are silicone-free, knitted microfibre products, made from polyester and polyamide. A unique stitched hem increases durability and reduces linting from fraying edges. They are principally used for polishing/ finishing operations. Minhatex is heavy and thick, and so holds more dirt and residue than an average wiping cloth. The product is machine-washable and can be laundered up to 50 times.
